Using Opiates Urine Testing Kits 

  1. Let the test cup sit at room temperature (15-30℃).
  2. Open the foil bag, take out the test cup, and label it with your details.
  3. Remove the lid and urinate directly into the cup (30-110mL).
  4. Secure the lid and give the cup to the collection official or let it sit for 5 minutes.
  5. Peel off the label and read the results within 5 minutes.

Note! Results after 10 minutes have passed will not be accurate. 

Using Saliva Testing Kits 

  • Make sure the donor hasn’t eaten, drunk, chewed gum, or used tobacco for at least 10 minutes.
  • Take the collection sponge and test cube out of the sealed pouch.
  • Swab the inside of the mouth for 2-3 minutes until the sponge is fully saturated.
  • Insert the sponge into the test cup and release the oral fluid.
  • Place the cup on a flat surface, remove the label, and start the timer.
  • Read the results between 3 and 10 minutes. If lines appear earlier, the test is negative.
  • If the test includes an alcohol strip, compare the alcohol strip color to the provided chart within 2 minutes.
